Each February we have the opportunity to donate our creativity, design experience, marketing knowledge, sign making
skills, and time (about 60 hours from concept to delivery) for a rewarding cause, The Girl Scout Cookie Car. The
Trillium Council (Allegheny, Fayette, Greene, Somerset, Washington and Westmoreland Counties in PA, Garrett
County, MD and Monongalia and Preston Counties, WV) cookie car serves many functions including promoting
awareness of cookie sales and specifically the Donate Cookies to Soldiers effort. The initial effort a few year ago
started at 700 boxes donated to soldiers. The yearly totals grew to 7000, then to over 13,000 in 2006. For 2007
Trillium Council's goal was to send 15,000 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies, their goal was surpassed by a healthy margin.
More than 27,000 boxes were donated by caring citizens, group, organization and companies. 2008 is sure be another
successful year, hopefully reaching 30,000 boxes going to soldiers.

Wright Automotive generously donates the use of the vehicle for the campaign. A Saab 9-5 wagon was the 2007
cookie car and will be serving a 2nd call of duty for the 2008 Girl Scout Cookie Car.
